How our deposits work
In alignment with our core values, we believe in transparency and flexibility, ensuring that your experience with us is as smooth as possible. Our deposit policy is built around our PAWS principles:

This approach ensures that you are never left in the dark and that we handle your concerns with care and integrity. At any point during the process, whether picking out a pup, or placing a deposit or during pickup, you can contact us and we will pause the process as effectively as we can, to ensure we care for you and your needs. Some things like in process shipping can't be "paused" but we will do everything we can even during that time.
Deposits are a tool to reserve the puppy and the deposit, minus any included processing/transaction fees, goes towards the purchase price of the puppy. The deposit is never the full price of the puppy unless explicitly stated.
Deposit Refund Guidelines
We understand that plans can change, and we’ve structured our deposit policy to be both fair and flexible:

100% Refundable: Deposits are fully refundable within 24 hours of placement, as long as the request is not made within 24 hours of an established pickup or shipment date.

100% Refundable: If there was a duplicate deposit put down by mistake, or put down on the same puppy by a different member of your home, you deposit will be fully refunded, regardless of the timing.

50% Refundable: Up until 2 days before the scheduled pickup or shipment date.

20% Refundable: Up until 1 day before the scheduled pickup or shipment date.

Non-Refundable, but Transferable:

If a pickup time is missed without sufficient prior notice, the deposit becomes non-refundable but can be transferred to a future puppy purchase.

We will make every effort to contact you if an appointment is missed. However, if we cannot reach you within three days, the deposit will be considered forfeit.

We also understand that life doesn’t always adhere to rules and policies, and we will occasionally make exceptions to these guidelines, so please feel free to call us. We will gladly have a conversation with you if there happens to be a complication with your deposit status.
We reserve the right to refund your deposit under a few specific circumstances

100% Refunded: Because our puppies generally are not available for long, we will occasionally receive several deposits at once before someone is able to finalize the purchase. In this event, we will fully refund your deposit or transfer it to another puppy of your choice, given they are available.

100% Refunded: In the event we would discover that the puppy will be going to be homed in an unsafe environment, an environment in which they will be abused or where they will not receive sufficient care, we will cancel and refund the deposit fully, and further deposits and purchases will be prohibited. We have zero tolerance for mistreatment of our puppies and will not allow them to be put in any kind of danger.
